These generously-sized towels are as soft and absorbent as they are beautiful. And, there’s a great story behind them.

After a career designing interiors for New York flagship stores and headquarters for companies whose names we’d surely recognize, Hana Getachew yearned to work with the makers of textiles like those that filled her childhood home and which came from her birthplace, Ethiopia. She started Bolé Road Textiles to champion the work of weaving collectives and small woman-owned businesses, providing fair wages and help with growing their businesses, and in the process, help revitalize local economies.
