A pot with a story as good as its pour.

This pitcher marks co-founder John Vigeland’s return to making pots by hand and his first collaboration through the East Fork Workshop. It’s a shape he and Alex first learned during their apprenticeships with Mark Hewitt, rooted in North Devon earthenware and Southeastern American jug traditions. You might use it the old way—lugging cold spring water up from the creek or tucking away a bit of moonshine—or let it live on the mantle, catching light and holding court.

Why we love it:

  • Handthrown by John Vigeland in his pasture-side studio north of Asheville
  • A classic, sturdy shape for water, lemonade or late-summer sunflowers
  • A form that connects old apprenticeships, new beginnings and what comes next
